HEIRLOOM. Adored Japanese heirloom whose bumpy skin starts off grey-blue and ripens to polished orange. Flesh is smooth and has a pumpkin pie flavor. No need to peel before cooking as the skin is edible. Fruits can reach two to four pounds and store between four and five months.
