This Peperomia thrives in bright, indirect light, but it can tolerate lower light levels. Temperature-wise, keep things around 60-75°F (16-24°C), and protect it from any freezing outdoor temps. This beauty prefers a steady environment without sudden changes.
When it’s time to water, remember that less is more. Let the soil dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering is a no-go—its plump leaves store water, so it doesn’t need constant attention. For soil, think well-draining. A cactus or succulent mix with at least 50% perlite or pumice works wonders. The Ruby Glow doesn’t want to sit in soggy soil, so make sure your pot has drainage holes.
Propagation is easy peasy! Simply snip a stem cutting with a few leaves, let it callous over for a day or two, then pop it in fresh soil. Before long, you’ll have more Ruby Glows to share—or hoard for yourself.
