Description
About- Kai Kai produces deeply ribbed 3-5lb fruit. Each fruit is accented by a beautiful tan color with patches and streaks. The fruit have a thick, dark orange flesh with a sweet smooth flavor similar to butternut squash. Resistant to mosaic virus and papaya ringspot virus.
When and Where to Plant– Plant in late spring or mid-summer in full sun. Prefers well-fertilized, rich soil that is well-drained.
Care and Harvest– Harvest winter squash near the end of the growing season before the first frost. The skin should be tough to pierce with your nail.
