Why No Drainage Holes? The reason these trays lack drainage holes is to allow for bottom watering. Microgreens absorb water from the bottom through the grow mat, and the design prevents overwatering as excess water stays in the tray, and doesn’t drain away. By keeping the surface clean from dripping water, this design makes a significant difference in keeping stems dry while roots stay moist, ideal for the growth of microgreens.

How to Use: To use this product, place the grow mat in the tray, add your microgreens seeds and water from the bottom. The typical harvesting period is 7-25 days. The setup works great with additional grow mats.
