Description
Cucumis sativus
As the name says – great for making homemade pickles! These compact cucumbers are bush type and are easy growing in small gardens or containers. Best harvested from two to five inches long. Early maturing cucumbers with good disease resistance.
Direct seed or transplant into the garden once all danger of frost has passed. Will appreciate full sun and rich, well draining soil. Water well to ensure good germination. Once germinated, cucumbers will need at least an inch of water per week. Consistently harvesting the fruits will result in a longer harvest window. Annual.
