About– Green curled endive is a timeless heirloom variety that has a unique flavor kick! Grow in the spring or fall to add some flavor to your salads! Leaves are very finely divided and curled forming a very attractive loose head with outstanding quality.
When and Where to Plant– Direct sow around your last frost day in the spring or in late summer for a fall crop. Prefers lightly amended soils. Easy to grow!
Care and Harvest– Water often, as lack of water will cause bitterness. Cut right above soil level for a continuous harvest. If harvesting in the fall, be sure to harvest before the first frost.
