This foliage on this blue green ground cover will make you look twice because they resemble the needles on a blue spruce. While far more fleshy and certainly softer to the touch than blue spruce foliage, the spiky leaves are attractive and aggressive and quickly form a thick groundcover or lawn substitute for hot, sunny, well drained areas.
