Description
About- Ambrosia is not your typical cantaloupe! It has extremely sweet flesh that is tender and pale orange in color. A great sweet fruit to add to your garden, try freezing the flesh as slices, chunks or even as a puree!
When and Where to Plant– Sow seeds outside about 2 weeks after the last frost date, when soil temperatures are about 65% F. Prefers soils that are well amended in an area with full sun.
Care and Harvest– Water often and rotate melons when possible. Allow to ripen on the vine, and harvest once the melon is fragrant and the blossom end feels soft.
