Description
Sally Clematis is compact deciduous climbing vine that freely flowers and can be used for groundcover with pointed green foliage. Abundant large medium pink flowers with color that deepens in sun bloom from late spring throughout summer. Grows best with partial sun on the roots and full sun on the vines, moist well-drained soils. Needs support to climb.
Note that this selection’s 8″ is a young vine and must be sleeved.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:Medium Maintenance.Water regularly, do not let soil dry out. It will need support if used for climbing. Prune back dead or weak vines in late winter and trim back remaining vines to first buds seen. Potential diseases include wilt (can be fatal), powdery mildew, and rust. Potential pests include scale, mites, weevils, earwigs, and slugs.
