Description
Ascot Rainbow Spurge is a compact herbaceous evergreen perennial
that grows in open mounds. The stems sport narrow whorls of variegated foliage with grey-green centers and yellow margins that earn a pink to orange flush in fall. Tiny deep red flowers surrounded by yellow and green striped brackets bloom all summer attracting bees
and butterflies
. Best shape in
full sun
and dry, well-drained soils. Good drought tolerance. B
roken stems have a milky white sap that can cause significant skin irritation if allergic to latex.
