Burgundy Blanket Flower is a
herbaceous
perennial
with a dense rounded habit and olive green lance-like foliage. Large rich red daisy-like flowers with short petals and fat global seedheads bloom through summer into fall. Bloom can be extended with deadheading. Prefers full sun and dry to medium well-drained rich soils. Drought tolerant once established.
