About- Our most popular variety of Swiss Chard. Mild flavored leaves are similar to spinach. Withstands heat better than most other greens.
When and Where to Plant– Start planting about 2 to 3 weeks before last expected frost or start indoors for an earlier harvest. Prefers rich soil and full sun.
Care and Harvest– Begin harvesting when leaves reach usable size. Remove a leaf or two from each plant or cut plants an inch or two above the soil for cut-and-come-again harvest.
