About– As the name implies “spacemaster” is an excellent option if you have limited garden space or grow in a raised bed. Known most commonly as a slicing variety, you can also harvest early for a delicious pickling cucumber.
When and Where to Plant– Direct sow 3-4 weeks after the last frost in the spring or start indoors 4-6 weeks before your last frost. Plant in an area that receives full sun and soil that is drains well.
Care and Harvest– Keep well-watered and fertilized throughout the growing season. Harvest often when mature by twisting the fruit off the vine.
