Description
About- Castle Dome Hybrid Broccoli is an excellent choice for gardeners. It has a compact, open plant and produces extra-large, domed heads with tight, small beads. With good cold vigor, it adapts to both hot and cold growing conditions. Enjoy large, firm crowns and weighty side shoots.
When and Where to Plant– Start indoors and transplant outside 2-3 weeks before your last expected frost. Will germinate in temperatures as low as 40°F. Prefers an area with full sun and slightly acidic, moist soil.
Care and Harvest– Keep plants well-watered. Harvest when the buds of the head are firm by cutting the stalk of the main head at a slant, and smaller side shoots will grow up from where you’ve cut.
